VideosDutton-Lainson 14830 DLV2500AB 2 Speed Trailer Hand Winch With Hand Brake has a 2500 lbs capacity and 17.3 to 1 and a 5.4 to 1 gear ratio. The reels are reinforced arc-welded and the embossed reinforced bases have high carbon steel gears. The gear ratios are load matched making for much easier cranking and the gear system has hunting teeth for a more even wear and longer product life span. Quick-attach handle allows easy change from high speed to low gear, for heavier loads. High carbor stee heat-treated gears, permanently lubricated bearings, reversible ratchet, ergonomic handle grip.

Dutton-Lainson Company pulling winches are best suited for boat trailer and other horizontal pulling applications which require the freewheeling features of ratchet type winches. Features include:

- All gears in models DLx1200 through DL3500B are heat treated for increased strength
- Permanently lubricated bearings on drive shafts are maintenance-free
- Heavy duty steel handles with ergonomic molded grips
- Drive shaft gears are copper brazed for durability

- Load matched gear ratios for easier cranking
- All plated parts are zinc plated TUFFPLATE® finish

D-L pulling winches are not recommended for lifting applications. For lifting, use a D-L brake or worm gear winch. D-L winches are not to be used as hoists for lifting, supporting, or transporting people, or for loads over areas where people could be present.
