EZ Loader Boat Trailer screw on grease fitting bearing protector for 5 lug EZ Loader hub. This grease fitting can be used to convert an EZ Loader Boat Trailer oil bath hub into a grease hub by unscrewing the center cap from the hub and screwing this grease fitting bearing protector. This bearing protector cap (2.126" - 16), with spring loaded piston, is used on the 5-lug hubs. It is designed to be screwed into place with a strap wrench using Red RTV Sealant. Does not come with a dust cap. Sold each.
Note: Apply grease into the grease zirk, using a hand style grease-gun. The lubricant level is checked by just being able to rock the edge of the spring loaded piston or until the piston has moved outward about 1/8”. This slight pressure assists with keeping the water out. Do not overfill, as this will cause damage to the Bearing Protector or the rear seal.
