Goshen Stamping Universal Push Spring Assembly Set for Pop Up Camper Lift Systems - 146 Inches

The Goshen Stamping Push Spring Assembly Set is a universal set of lift springs designed to fit all pop up camper lift systems. Not all pop-up camper lift springs measure 146-inches, so this set of springs may need to be cut to length depending on the model of camper they will be installed on. The outside diameter of these push springs measure a 1/2 inch.

This push spring assembly includes two 146-inch push springs and works on the following pop up campers:

  • Camplite / Damon (since 1993)
  • Dutchmen (1993 - 2003)
  • Forest River (since 1993)
  • Palomino (since 1987)
  • Rockwood / Flagstaff (some models since 1994)
  • Skamper (since 1977)
  • Starcraft (1993 - 2008)
  • Sunlite (1987 - 1994)
  • Sylvan Sport (since 2008)
  • Van American / Cobra (1989 -1990)
  • Viking (1995-2012, 2018-Current)

Notice From The Manufacturer:

This product will NOT fit high wall campers

Goshen Stamping Push Spring Replacement Procedure

It is important when changing springs to do only one end of the camper at a time. The roof should be DOWN before repairing, to take pressure off the system.

1. Remove the tie plate by removing the two self-tapping screws.
2. Remove the two screws that attach the spring tubes to the master tube.
3. Remove two screws each from floor plates that attach spring tubes to the frame of the camper.
4. Pull the spring out from the bottom of the telescoping posts.
5. Pull the spring tube off of the spring.
6. Pull the spring assembly (2 springs attached) out of the master tube.
7. Put the new spring assembly in the master tube and push all the way to the stop. Note: The cable lies between the springs and must slide freely.
8. Put the spring tubes on the springs. (You may need to put some oil in the tube to ease pushing spring through).
9. Attach the spring tubes to the corner of the frame of the camper.
10. Attach the spring tubes to the master tube.
11. Attach the tie bar.
12. Repeat the above procedure on the opposite end of the camper if necessary.

You will need 2 sets for Front and Rear replacements. 1 set for the front and 1 set for the rear

Push springs were an exact match. my unit used the 146" springs so I did not have to cut them. Replacement took a total of 1.5 hrs. and that was taking my time.

We have a Coachman Clipper with the goshen lift system. Two of the lift springs had been kinked after the cable for a third corner had broken. These were the right diameter, so after a quick measure/cut they did the job.

The push springs we ordered were of better quality than the original parts and were a perfect fit. Will be ordering from Hanna trailer supply for all future pop up parts that we need.
