VideosThe Triton 15837 Spring Door Chain Kit is an add on kit for the Triton Enclosed Trailer side access doors. This kit will stop the door from hitting the exterior skin or fenders, preventing possible costly fixes on the trailer. This spring loaded kit will also take out most of the shock from being opened quickly and blown around by the wind. It can also be unhooked to open the door all the way if needed.
Install it on any Triton enclosed trailer that is equipped with a side access door option. The #15837 Door Chain Spring Kit can be added to any existing or new Triton side access door.
The Door Chain Spring Kit is easy to install. The mounting block attaches to top of the framework above the side access door and the chain block mounts to the top of the frame of side access door itself.
This kit is great for anyone who wants their door open for a short amount of time and does not want to open it fully and latch it on the door hold back. The Door Chain Spring Kit will prevent the door from hitting the side of your trailer and damaging the skin (shown below).
If you would like to open the door fully, all you have to do is unhook the "S" hook on the chain from the mounting block.
